I'm not sure I understand what Local VCS is all about. How/when is it helpful to know what time & date something was run?
What I would like to see Local VCS record is: 1) Check in & out of files 2) Creation of new files 3) Addition & removal of methods, fields, ctors, & classes 1 & 2 look easy and would give me functionality that I don't get easily otherwise: the state of my files. 3 looks a little harder, but not too hard given that IDEA is already noticing when these things come & go in order to give error feedback.
