I'd be happy without drag-drop ordering of tabs if the tabs reordered themselves according to "most recently viewed to the left"... that way it's only the least recently viewed ones (least important in general) that scroll off to the right.
Basically, I wish it worked similarly to MSDEV when using the "tabbed window" 3rd party enhancement, as well as similarly to the Alt-Tab application-switching in Windows. Every time I viewed a file, the currently viewed file would ALWAYS be the left-most tab. The last file I viewed would always be second-from left. Etc. And I'd love to have a simple keystroke that let me cycle through the editors forwards and backwards (like Ctrl-Tab/Shift-Ctrl-Tab in MSDEV)... WITHOUT any dialog or list or anything (though an Alt-Tab task-switcher type thing wouldn't be too intrusive, since no ENTER is required).
