Hi all
A collegue recently recommended IntelliJ for me and I decided to give it a
try. So far we've been using VisualAge for Java v3.5 developing EJB's and
other java code. Here's my impression of IntelliJ Adriana build #640:

At first I was very satisfied with customizability of shortcut keys and code
layout and also satisfied by response time of menus, dialogues and code
completion.
However, the program seems very limited with regards to EJB programming.
When we tried to import our code (EJBs, deployment description and other
java code) from a single jar file we found no way of doing this other than
by providing the source code itself. There is also no option for exporting
code other than to HTML(?). What does IntelliJ do with deployment
descriptors if it can only import the sourcecode itself?
In our project we use WebSphere 4.0 - is there any support for this in
IntelliJ? A plug-in of some kind?

IntelliJ looks like a nice tool for simple java programming, but for heavier
stuff like EJBs and large projects it seems to, unfortunately, fall short.

Any comments?
