Vim does that in the case of *any* search. Maybe a checkbox could be added to the
search dialog
which says:
[ ] highlight all matches
so that you can preview all of the search results, regular expression or not.
Of course, I would suggest that this behavior be the default and just leave off the
checkbox :)
Some 'match bars' on the right would also be nice. Now, let's see, what color haven't
we used
yet...pink!
