Apologies if this is not really a CGI issue, but I am not sure where the problem lies.
I seem to be experiencing a difference between using an url that contains a name that is defined in my pc 'hosts' file and just using the IP address. For me this table just represents a 'translation' and I have no idea why the server or browser would treat it differently. eg between as400/cgiprdp/pgm1.pgm and 999.999.99.9/cgiprdp/pgm1.pgm This first program displays a list of items. I click on an item to see the detail (link to another CGI program). After, using the brower back button I return to the first list page. There is never a problem with the first form of url (as400), but using the IP form I get 'Page has Expired' message. Thanks for any ideas Andrew ------------------------ Yahoo!
