There is no problem with responding to a question with information about a commercial solution.

However, it is important to be extremely clear about the commercial provider and that the solution IS NOT free.

Rich erred in this respect, apologized, and promised to be careful not to do it again.

I respectfully ask that we drop further discussion about this.

I don't want to be heavy handed by deleting any messages that complained about this.  I would appreciate it, however, if those who posted such messages were to delete them themselves.
