Here are some sites that have really helped me learn HTML, CSS, and _javascript_. I believe each of these sites have tutorials and references that are easy to follow. All of them are also free.
http://www.webmonkey.com/ - Great place to start. Some really good tutorials for beginners and some useful references.
http://www.w3schools.com/ - Great references for CSS, HTML, and _javascript_. Also has tutorials.
http://www.quirksmode.org/ - Really good tutorials on _javascript_ and that also help you grasp key differences between browsers.

This really isn't a technical issue, but I wanted to get your input
on it. I've been using CGIDEV2 for a few years now, and our company
has about 30 intranet applications up and running. More and more
things are being requested, so we're asking other RPG programmers to
learn CGIDEV2. Currently, we have 2 that are knowledgable on how to
use CGIDEV2, and know enough html to get things done.
We have 6 or 7 programmers who are trying to get projects done with
CGIDEV2, and are struggling. I think it's the html programming that
is slowing development. I can get FrontPage or Dreamweaver, and
hopefully that can help them learn html. Other than that, and going
over the great examples that are provided with CGIDEV2, has anybody
else dealt with how to bring people up to speed with CGIDEV2?
Like everything else, some people catch on quickly, and others take
a while. I'm just trying to figure out ways to help bring everybody
up to speed.
I enjoy programming with CGIDEV2, and management loves the results.
They are just starting to want more and more!
