Hi Scott,
Refer your questions for 1 and 2,below is my reply accordingly.
1.I do not have a VPN network at my house just a normal broadband connection.
2.From my work pc,i am unable to establish a connection to the demo echo server.I have uninstalled echovnc and set up accordingly to instruction but still unable to log in to the demo server.

Hello! Two questions for you:
1. It should be easy to VNC into your office PC, after you have
established
a VPN connection with work from your WinXP Pro PC at home. Do you not
have VPN access?
2. From your work PC, can you use EchoVNC to establish a connection
to the demo echoServer at " demo.echovnc.com" (password "demo2005")?
If so, you don't even need to establish the VPN connection to be able
to remote your work PC from home.
I can help with more details once you can provide some guidance
for those two questions.
thanks,
Scott
