Running netstat -i shows that tap0 is up. The "ADSL link" LED on the modem is a steady green which seems to indicate that the ADSL link is up too. It just blinks until "synchronization succesful" is displayed by startmodem. Could this mean that my ISP is *not* using PPPoE? When checking the control panel for the DSL-200 modem on Windows 2000 it says that it is using "RFC 1483 LLC encapsulated ethernet" Thanks for the help so far. /Paul =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Driver Linux pour modem ECI ADSL USB: http://eciadsl.flashtux.org Archives de cette liste de diffusion: http://liste.eci.free.fr Pour se desinscrire: mailto:eci-request@;ml.free.fr?subject=unsubscribe
