H.C. Ellis has warned us that the most advancement in women's rights have taken place under a capitalistic regime, thus, we should be thankful. H.C. - there are more than the two choices you named (capitalism and socialism) to choose from! We all need to be more imaginative when thinking of change. Maybe the answer hasn't even been invented yet. Actually, I'm pretty sure this is the case since nothing this world has seen has successfully quashed the boundaries of racism, sexism, classism and all the other isms.
