In response to Rebecca Ross' question about "Woman on the Edge of Time" being
ecofeminism:
I would say yes. And, the ideas in this book about a utopian society are the
kind I was speaking of in my last post when I said we all need to create the
ways of change instead of looking to the old, tired regimes of capitalism,
socialism, etc., to solve our problems. If you haven't read this book, run, do
not walk, but *run* to the nearest bookstore, buy it and read it. After
reading this book, you will probably be left with a refreshed view of life,
and one that actually can now envision a better society. Maybe we should just
let Marge Piercy run the world! :)
