I think the best way to skip over this men/women/nature sort of thing is
to change the requirement to read:
men and women who would like to relate to the world as humans, not as
their gender. How's that?
My feminism is evolving (as is that of others on this list) into a
humanism -- by blaming half of the people on the planet for its
degraded condition, one does not provide any real role for
anyone to amend one's relationship to the earth. We're ALL responsible
for the continuation of the patriarchy as it is. (Not necessarily for
its establishment and stranglehold). (Am I sounding like Camille
Paglia? I hope not.)
