Hi everyone. I'm wondering what you think about this: In the debate
that has been going on for years now between the deep ecologists and the
ecofeminists about root causes of eco-crisis in the West, do you think
that both claims (human chauvinism vs. sexism) are reductionistic?
Surely there are sexist cultures that, nevertheless have ecologically
sound cultural practices. And surely there are anthropocentric cultures
that do as well. How would you articulate what ecofeminism has to say
about sexism and its relationship to eco-crisis? Can it be said in such
a way that doesn't beg for the reductionist charge?

Thanks for your thoughts on this.
