I also agree on this, although I hear Deborah's response that she was not
referring to fascism in this traditional sense.

Speaking of fascism and halloween.... in Virginia we now have the same
Christian right that is advocating the return of school prayer telling us
that we cannot have halloween in the schools because it is a pagan
holiday... I have decided that at the next PTA meeting where they say
they want school prayer I am going to say, "OK, but only if every full
moon and every Thursday the kids pray to the godess and engage in pagan
rituals!" As far as I am concerned the scariest thing about this
halloween is that by next week we could have Ollie(lie lie lie lie) North
as the junior senator from Virginia.
