The National Council for Research on Women will hold its ANNUAL CONFERENCE
at the United Nations Headquarters, New York City, from December 9-11, 1999.
Focused on the visions and values of women’s and girls’ leadership, the
Conference will feature key women leaders – both national and
international – sharing their experiences and strategies.  Participants will
explore issues within specific domains – politics, the economy, grassroots
activism, human rights, science and technology, the corporate arena, and
higher education – as well as discuss women’s and girls’ agendas for the
year 2000 election in the United States and the five-year review of the
Beijing Platform for Action.

Social Change and Reform in Higher Education
Crafting Women's and Girls' Agendas for Election 2000
Corporate Women Leading Corporate Change
Grassroots Leadership and Academic Activists
