This is the first call for papers and posters for The Sixth Mountain Lion Workshop 
http://www.sulross.edu/~lion/index.html, which will be held 12-14 December 2000 in San 
Antonio, Texas at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk. 

Oral and paper presentations are encouraged but not limited to the following subject 
areas relative to mountain lions: State and Province Status Reports, Monitoring 
Programs, Interactions with Prey, Interactions with Humans, Populations, Genetics, 
Movements, and other aspects of Ecology.

Abstracts must be submitted by 30 September 2000. All contributed papers will be 
scheduled at 15-minute intervals (12 minutes of presentation, 3 minutes for 
question/answer). Speakers in oral and poster sessions will be notified of day, time, 
and location of their presentation. 

Abstracts for papers and posters must be submitted in electronic format (text within 
the email message as ASCII text and no attachments or 3.5" diskette) to the Louis A.
