Hi, At a seminar this afternoon, a colleague asked whether anyone had heard of a paper that described a species of South American(?) flowering plant. The 'trumpet' structure of that plant suggested to the authors that an unknown species of bird (hummingbird?) inhabited the area. That bird may have recently been discovered.
Unfortunately, no one knew the reference. If possible, I would like to track down this paper for my colleague and for the students that attended the talk. Would any of you know the paper he was referring to? Thank you so much, Lynn Norman First Year Biology UBC
