            ANNUAL ARTHROPOD GENOMICS SYMPOSIUM

As more arthropod genomes are sequenced, we are faced with the ever-growing
need for databases and bioinformatics tools based on common platforms to
support comparative genomics. The Arthropod Genomics Consortium was formed
to address these issues. The first projects focus on databases and tools for
literature annotation. You are invited to join the fun as we share our
progress with the arthropod research community, by providing feedback on
these projects and input new possibilities.

Keynote speakers:

Thom Kaufman, Fly Base and Bruce Schatz, BeeSpace
Indiana University Univ. of Illinois at
