The incumbent will serve in the Sustainable Environment Branch (SEB) of the Sustainable Technologies Division (STD). This branch focuses its efforts on in-house research to develop and test sustainability science, methods, tools and sources of information. The work will primarily be place-based (centered on the underlying geography) and at various scales of resolution. It will develop and test environmental management methods, tools and sources of information for communities, watersheds, ecosystems, and regions. The development of methods, tools and information sources for the management of non-chemcial environmental stressors such as resource depletion, habitat destruction, ecosystem fragmentation, non-point sources pollution and/or urban sprawl will be investigated.
