Brief Description of The sustainability program within the National Risk
Management Research Laboratory (NRMRL) studies management
Research Project: of watershed processes from an interdisciplinary
perspective. We utilize incentive programs that are based on
theories of sociology, law, governance, and economics.
These incentive programs are informed by ecological and
hydrologic processes to yield comprehensive management of
pervasive environmental stressors, such as
                      storm-water. Through field-based investigations, we
monitor for the effectiveness of these environmental
management actions. The analysis of these hydrometric
assessments forms the basis for this postdoctoral
                      research opportunity.
