Two full-time, paid Project Assistants needed for studies of forest
ecology in New York's Hudson River Valley. Project Assistants will
use laser-mapping equipment to re-census mapped forest stands as part
of a Cary Institute research program that addresses links between
forest tree composition, masting, mammal communities, and tick-borne
disease. Experience identifying adults and seedlings of trees in
Northeastern oak-mixed-hardwood forests is required. Duties are
scheduled to begin about May 17 and continue until about August 20,
