Plant Physiologist
Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix, Arizona

Research position in one of the world’s major botanical gardens specializing
in desert plants.  The successful applicant will use innovative approaches
to study physiological processes in arid land plants.  We are especially
seeking candidates whose research links investigations of plant physiology
with applications in conservation biology and ecology, for example,
predicting the consequences of landscape changes, climate change, or
ecosystem alterations by exotic species. Responsibilities include conducting
original research, seeking extramural funding, and cooperating with other
departments in the development of exhibits and educational programs.  Ph.D.
