The National Science Foundation (NSF) soon will be developing a solicitation for the next LTER Network Office (LNO). To help guide this process, NSF has appointed a six-person task force to collect information, solicit community input, and prepare a set of recommendations and options for the future structure and functions of the LNO.
The task force is actively seeking community input, and we have created a short web-based survey through which you can provide your ideas to the committee, and we are hoping you will take 5-10 minutes to complete the survey. The survey is accessible through the task-force web-site: http://lnovision.colorado.edu/; just click on the "Share your ideas through a short survey" button. Please give us your feedback, and please also circulate this link to your friends and colleagues, whether or not they are associated with LTER.
