A PhD student position is available at the University of Vienna within the 
Graduate Program “Microbial Nitrogen Cycling – from single cells to ecosystems” 
on the topic:

Investigating microorganisms contributing to nitrogen assimilation and 
turnover processes in soil

The PhD will will be co-supervised by Andreas Richter 
(ter.csb.univie.ac.at/people/andreas-richter) 
and Dagmar Wöbken (microbial-ecology.net/people/dagmar-woebken) at the 
Department 
of Microbiology and Ecosystem Science (dmes.univie.ac.at/) at the  of Vienna, 
Austria.

The PhD project is funded by the Austrian Science Fund for up to 4 years. 
Starting date: Spring or early summer 2016. Evaluation will start 15th February 
2016 and will 
continue until the position is filled.
