Big Cat Research Project seeking volunteers for ongoing behavioral study of lion, leopard and cheetah populations in South Africa. Primary duties will be, but are not limited to, conducting behavioral observations and taking detailed field notes, as well as organizing and contributing to a photo-ID catalog of individuals. Volunteers need not have any specific background or prior experience, but should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and open to learning in a new environment. Four sessions are available for the summer of 2017, each two weeks in length. Volunteers are welcome attend multiple sessions. Few openings remain.
