Dear colleagues and potential candidates,

I am seeking to fill 2 PhD and 1 Postdoc position on improving predictions
of (avian) biodiversity dynamics within the DFG project "BIOPIC -
Disentangling the effects of demography, dispersal and biotic interactions
on population and community response to global change". Working place will
be Humboldt-University Berlin. Application deadline is extended to 9th March
2018. Positions are anticipated to start around April 2018 (negotiable).

The positions are:
- PhD position 1: modelling species interactions (how do biotic interactions
shape species’ niches?), 3 years
- PhD position 2: modelling range dynamics (how do life history and
demography shape species’ niches?), 3 years
- PostDoc position: dispersal modelling, (how do life history and individual
variation shape dispersal?), 3 years

All the best,
