M.Sc. position available at University of Montreal

The project will aim at evaluating how mycorrhizal fungal traits vary 
across host plants and along ecological gradients. It will involve a 
mixture of experimental work and observational surveys. More information

student city in 2017. Research in plant science and microbial ecology is 
done in research labs adjacent to the Botanical Garden, a truly unique 
research environment. 


Interested candidates should:

- Have some background in statistics and R programming
- Ideally have experience in molecular biology (projects will involve 
DNA extractions, amplification and sequencing)
- Have a valid driving license
- Be motivated to work in sometimes hard meteorological conditions in 
the field


Applicants susceptible to get external funding to cover salary (e.g., 
FRQNT or NSERC) scholarships will be favored.
