Having just attended a 3 day XML training class, I can certainly see where XML
has a place in the future. However, aside from eliminating the cost of the EDI
translator I still think we'll face many of the same problems we faced with EDI.
And some of the XML related software isn't cheap either. I sometimes find
myself waxing nostalgic over those long BSI threads that Ken Steel would get
started ; - )
