Greetings,
I find some utilities available on the Internet marvellous for helping us
do EDI.

I would like to know of any other software which helps with EDI
implementation.
This request specifically excludes EDI productivity tools, standard EDI
translators, X.400 communication packages, modem software, encryption
software, web Edi solutions and on-line tools to compare messages with
standards.

An example is a utility from Funduc ( http://www.funduc.com/ ) called
"Search and Replace" to replace unwanted characters before processing
through our translator. It has a gui, a simple script language, ability to
do this in zips but runs on the command line on Windows or NT. They also
have a freeware hexveiwer which you can use with it or stand-alone.

Would people care to post any other useful utilities and programs that makes
the life of EDI teams easier?
Below is my list of edi utilities and programs for specialist tasks gleaned
from EDI-L. I have no relation to funduc, ( or happy chicken or pleasant
pheasant :-)) or any of the other software companies below.

The name next to it is who posted this information to EDI-L ( to my
knowledge)
I aplogise if my summaries are slightly incorrect.

I am compulsive about drawing diagrams in meeting to explain the grand EDI

good!). This may interest similar people.
