A couple of questions regarding the EDI 140 transaction.
1) Since when has the 140 been in use? I.e., when did it first appear
in the ANSI X12 standards.
2) Is there a EDIFACT equivalent? When did it first appear?
3) Does anyone use the 140 to send serial number information?
4) If not, is there a better transaction to use to send serial numbers?
