Bryan...

I'm using IDX on an AS/400... It's essentially the same software since it's
all written in Java... One potential issue is that you need to make sure
you have both SMTP and POP3 services available on the inside of the
firewall. The way our implementation of Exchange was setup those services
had to be disabled inside the firewall. Enabling those services took
several additional servers and routings to accomplish. I probably should
have known that up front, but when I was asked what mail platform I was
on... everyone was just sure it would work.

I still think it's an OK product...just a bit more expensive than I had
originally budgeted.

Is anyone using Sterling's CONNECT:Enterprise IDX software on an NT
Platform? I am looking for information regarding integration issues,
reliability and any hidden costs that one might have encountered.

Thanks in advance,

Bryan Evans
