Otto, One of our customers trades with Walmart and we installed the iSoft AS2 software and maintain it.
Another TP allows VAN connections, so we paid one of our VANs to setup an AS2 connection with that TP and we ftp to/from the VAN but the TP sends/receives to/from the VAN by AS2. Paying the VAN to install and maintain the AS2 link to the TP is cheaper than paying us because the VAN does it every day, all the time. Unless you want your data encrypted between you and the VAN, or your TP refuses to connect via a VAN (like Walmart), I suggest that you let the VAN do the AS2 for you. hth, Dave Dave Taylor President Sysmark Information Systems, Inc. 49 Aspen Way Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 800-SYSMARK (800-797-6275) (O) 310-544-1974 (C) 310-561-5200 (P) 800-339-1497 (F) 310-377-3550 Your Source for Integrated EDI Translation and DataSync Integration www.sysmarkinfo.com ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, March 24, 2006 12:35 PM Subject: [EDI-L] Re: Help with AS2 certification question > Hi guys, > > I need your expert opinion, one of our t/p is requesting an AS2 certification, and to be honest with you this is the first time I run accross this requirement. > > This was set up before I came aboard the company, > All I see in my computer is "TD Peer client V2.2.019" ehelp corporation. > > Please let me know if you guys have seen any of this or have any contacts. > > any input will be greatly appreciated. > > Otto > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > > . > Please use the following Message Identifiers as your subject prefix: <SALES>, <JOBS>, <LIST>, <TECH>, <MISC>, <EVENT>, <OFF-TOPIC> > Access the list online at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EDI-L > > Yahoo!
