Another important aspect of EDI is communication. Let's start with your email. This list is not a teenagers chat room. This is a professional forum. If you succeed in EDI, it will be in part because of your ability to communicate effectively at a professional level both verbally and in writing. Begin by abandinong childish abbreviations, use proper spelling, present yourself as a professional.
Next, write and speak in complete thoughts. Begin by replying to this message with specific areas in which you need help. We will reply respectfully if you address us in kind. Continue to write like a fool, and you will be regarded as such. Finally, understand that EDI cannot be mastered in a day. My best advice to you, if you truly want to learn this art, is to hire a real professional and learn from him or her. There are plenty of us on this list.
