My company, Business Integration Technology (BIT), works with companies implementing EDI using VANs, proprietary software, and Open Source. Our business model is consulting, so we're not selling any software or services - just our labor. We do market research to help our customers make decisions on B2B integration. We found that there is a lot of confusion about what various connection models cost so we did a little research and published a comparison on our blog at http://BIT-Blog.com/.
It's hard to make sure a diverse marketplace simple enough to categorize and quantify, so I would appreciate any comments the group has to offer on our findings.
