I will start by introducing myself, my name is Brian Lambertz and I
have been working in the EDI field for just over a year. I work for a
company based in North Dakota called Dakota Growers Pasta, and I work
out of the Minneapolis office.
We have recently purchased an upgrade from Cleo Communications that
took out AS2 software from Lexicom to VLTrader. A new feature that
was included with VLTrader is VLProxy, which resides in the DMZ
outside the firewall and allows the VLTrader software to manage the
AS2 access, rather then opening our firewall for each new partner.
Does anyone in this group have any experience with VLProxy? Are there
any positives or negatives to managing AS2 connections through a proxy?
