I am very curious as well in the use of Wm and EDI. We are currently using
TLE/Unix here and have
just purchased Wm and the intention is to use Wm for all our EDI. Our Mgmt
has a plan to convert all to Wm eventually
(since they would like to have XML and EDI on one platform).

We have a group at J&J who is doing EDI using webMethods. They have a
limited number of partners and a limited number of mappings and it seems to
serve them in good stead. I will forward your message to them in case they
wish to share some of their experiences with you.

However, keeping in mind that all my evidence is anecdotal, and the plural
of anecdote is not data, I would think long and hard about moving the
Consumer franchise's 500-some-odd TPs and 35,000 transactions/month into
webMethods.

Does anyone have any experiences to share with using Webmethods to replace
an old fashioned translator? I have heard some stories but want
verification.
