I have read the previous SCC-14 calculation but still not quite sure
if my thought is correct. We are selling to Walmart and we sell to
Walmart by 4 units in a box (carton). Some of the messages said we can
use "1" for the first digit as we have the same item in the carton,
and "0" as the second digits plus our UPC code. Some website use the
first 13 digits to calculate the last digit. Which one should I use?
1. If my item UPC is 745883553853, do I use 10745883553853?(put"10" in
front of our UPC)
2. If my item UPC is 745883553853, do I just use 10745883553850?(put
the first 13 digits included Package ID and Number System Character
and leave out the last digit from our original UPC?
Thanks,
Karrie Che
