Thank you for the clarification. Perhaps somebody who has dealt with this issue in Gentran 6.1 for UNIX can help. But before we deal with that, I wonder at your description of the problem. Let's review: The ISA tells the VAN, to whom they are to deliver the X12 message. The GS tells the translator for whom the messages are intended. If you are sending the one each of the GS groups to different trading partners, why would you want to route them to the same place? This is somewhat unusual, though not unheard of. Just be certain that is what you really want to do. The only reasons I can think of are if the recipient of the ISA will be processing or re-routing the GS' on behalf of somebody else, or if the GSes represent divisions within a company, represented by the ISA. Let us know what translator you are using, and give us the entire scenario of why you require this capability, and maybe we can help.
