Subject: Re: [EDI-L] 820 3010 Payments - Online "Once in a year"
Customers

AK,

Your first field of the BPS segment tells you the type of
payment your bank received for you. Your bank could have received a
wire transfer, a check or cash to trigger the RA to you.

Why do you care how the customer pays so long as you received
the money in your bank account?

Hello,
Need your inputs to understand how the 820s and web based ordering are
related.

We have been receiving 820 3010 transactions for some of our web based
customers - I have pasted a sample below after masking confidential info

For online customers, what kind of payment other than a credit card
payment, would trigger an 820 transaction to be sent to us by our bank.

We have a process in place for credit card payments.

We are not able to track what kind of payment the customer is using to
cause the 820 transactions to be generated.

The crucial piece is - these are "once in a year" customers that are
business has not signed a contract with for ACH.

Thanks in advance,
AK
