Does anyone have a document the prove my claim that an N2 segment
(Additional Name Information) must always come after an N1 segment
(Party Identification).
Specifically, we went live with UPS for EDI 214 and they send me,
sometimes (actually, very rarely) an N2 segment that does not come
after an N1.
My EDI translator (Inovis TLE Unix) will give me a translation error.
According to UPS, I am the first one to complain about this issue
with their EDI 214 data. They say that "N1" is optional, which, of
course it's optional, but it's not optional to have N2 without N1 in
my opinion.
