Yes we have had this occur with a customer Big-W in Australia.  They 
wanted the CONTRL record in a different version then the ORDERS 
document they sent it.

We have Gentran on the iSeries so we were able to handle it fairly 
easy.  We set up a new Global paramater file that stated not to 
return the 997/CONTRL under the same version the document was 
received and instead send out the 997/CONTRL in the format setup on 
the partners outbound CONTRL parameters.

We just call the library containing the different Global parameter 
file before processing Big-W and then delete the library after Big-W 
was processed in.

We attempted to explain to them that this was not normal but that 
did not help.  They wanted what they wanted.
