Don't know about Guillermo's test files, but my 835 and 837 software has been tested up thru 60 Mb (ANSI ASC X12 file size) . It's designed for more (~ 800 Mb depending on system), but it was hard enough for me to fabricate the 60 Mb files. (Windows O/S). FWIW, the next release of my scanner will be truly "unlimited" as far as file size - it will be subject to available memory for a summary record (about 60 bytes) per transaction set found in the file; but it takes a lot of transaction sets to use up 2,000 Mb at 60 bytes per. My databases are not as large as XML-format databases, since they only store data, no tags or other baggage. FWIW, the scanner itself is the same one used in the EDICLEAN software you can download (free) from the "Tech Corner" page of my web site. Michael C. Mattias Tal Systems Inc.
