Because since EDI's beginning (a long time ago) applications did not
need a 3rd party certification. The market was self regulated thanks
to public feedback via user groups and public forums. So why should
the EDI/B2B market suddenly require certification from a commercial
3rd party? As I see it the only reason is for a certain 3rd part to
expand its market since the current market no longer provides new
clients and the current client base does not provide enough income.
For me that is not a good enough reason. If users believe that there
is a need for certification why not create with the help of the
solution providers a free opens source test suite?
