I don't know if TrustedLink has any auto map feature but I would probably be careful of auto-mapping at any rate.
The Enterprise version of EDIFECS SpecBuilder does have a feature where you can load EDI data and it will generate an EDI Guideline for the data. You can use that guideline to generate a .ddf file or xsd schema or dtd or any one of numerous other metadata formats that you can then import into most mapping tools to use as a source or target structure. Good Morning, Can someone please let me know if they are aware of any sort of "auto mapping" utility that is part of Trusted Link for Windows. We have a division of our organization that uses TL for Windows as a TP manager and data communications tool only. The EDI data is translated in RPG programs on AS400. There are no specs available! We have a requirement to migrate "maps" to new environment. Was hoping that TL for WIndows has a utility that would allow us to take the "raw" edi data and create a base map from the data.
