Shawn,
No need for a translator, we've already got one, what we're looking for is a
way to validate the data we've created using the translator against a trading
partner's IG. Although, I am, of course, PERFECT, sometimes the mapping
software can't read my mind and it makes my maps to do things I didn't intend
;) I'm sure if we switched to Softshare with the telepathic conversion add on,
that would really be the correct solution.

Happy Friday everybody!

>From Tor's information, it appears Specbuilder will do that.

Actually, Edifecs XEngine can generate 997¢s and TA1¢s plus do
splitting of good and bad transactions as well as conversion to XML. The latest
version will even do conversion between two guideline mappings, not quit EDI
translation yet, but can be done.

I've had experience with Edifecs and have found their tool wonderful
for HIPPA validation - the best IMO.

You'll need a translator though to preform EDI parsing, 997 stuff,
etc. Axway, Sterling, Inovis, etc
