I did mapping for a customer a few years ago

where 810 invoices were sent out for customs broker services.

In this case all the charges, i.e. duty, drayage, and other customs fees

were all sent as summary level SAC charges and there were no IT1 segments.

It worked fine.

Subject: [EDI-L] 810 message without IT1 segemnt.

Hi all, I just want to get a feel from you if you do/comeacross 810 messages

without the line level information (IT1).
I am dealing with a situation where the invoices are done for contracts and
leases. There may not be a "part number" per say.
So, is it feasible to do 810 messages without IT1 segments? Do you see any
isuses/loop holes in this approach??

Please share your comments.
Thanks and have a good day!!!
Best Regards
UK
