I am having an inordinate amount of problems with characters that are used as
control characters (Element Separator, Sub-Element Separator and Segment
Terminator) being sent in the User File for outbound documents. We have
customer service people all over the place and just asking them to not use
several reserved characters has not worked. I was wondering what other methods
have been utilized to solve or at least mitigate this issue.
Not that it really matters or the purpose of my request but we are interfacing
JDE with TrustedLink on an iSeries.
