Hi -

This sounds as if you are putting together a college term paper, not an
executive presentation.

Perhaps you should first focus on your own ERP system, and business
requirements.

If it SAP, it's typically IDOC's. If it's Oracle, they are recommending the
integration with Fusion webservices and BPEL.

If you are in an industry, you should focus on the recommended usage of
standards by that industry.

This is too broad of a question to respond seriously. Except for the
salesmen.

Susan

Subject: [EDI-L] Presentation of Integration Best Practices

I have been asked to put together a presentation to our executives about the
best practices followed by most companies regarding the integration of EDI
with an ERP or WMS.

Does anyone have any high-level documents like white papers or case studies
that they can share? I would like to be able to pull some quotes and prehaps
show examples of diagrams that others have created.

I have already searched the archives using terms like 'best practices' and
'integration'. The postings returned were mostly job listings and resumes.

Thanks
