One thing I have done after posing a question and waiting for responses is
e-mail directly the member who seems to have a best solution and see if we
can resolve the issue. This has proven very successful.

Sincerely,

I have to come agree with Chris. Also I have found my knowledgeable
colleagues on this list to be very timely in their responses. To all who
feel pushed for a response allow me to suggest you invoke the Scotty Factor.

Although I have not seen any statistics recently I think EDI-L has of
order 2000 participants. Responses to queries do not typically number
more than a few. For real-time chat style assistance to work you are
going to need a large number of participants online at any time. I wish
you luck but I have to say I think this unlikely.

Chris
