It depends on which Break maps you are using. Gentran will first try to use the GS Sender and/or Receiver Ids to determine the trading partner. If it can not find one, then it will try the ISA Sender and/or Receiver.
The Break maps that concatenate the two IDs are... _Isabrk2DivSR.tpl _Gsbrk2DivSR.tpl _Stbrk2.tpl Fa997_2.tpl (or something like that.) --- In [email protected], Dave Records <dave@...> wrote: > > Not true, Gentran can be setup to recognize partner by ISA sender and receiver id or GS sender and receiver id. Search the Sterling/IBM site for white papers on how to setup the GS maps. But the sender and receiver id's are always used as a pair. They are usually concatenated in the trading partner setup. > > Dave Records > Records Consulting, LLC > Email: dave@... > > > > > > > > > > > On Mar 21, 2012, at 6:19 AM, vijaychandrak07 wrote: > > Hi All, > > I have a requirement in Gentran Server for Windows where I do get two files with same senderID and different ReceiverID's. > > As of my knowledge, Gentran Server for Windows recognizes the partner based on just Sender.
